United in Plaid
The Mercy plaid is a source of pride on campus that has been worn by generations of Mercy Girls. It promotes a sense of belonging and unites the past, present, and future.
School Uniform Policy
Every Wednesday and on liturgy and assembly days, students are asked to be in formal uniform which consists of white polos, skirts or pants, a sweater or vest, and white or black shoes. Mercy celebrates Mercy Wear Mondays, where students can wear any Mercy spirit top and Free Dress Fridays each week.
Mercy is proud to partner with our uniform company, Hello Nella. All items are available on their website www.hellonella.com. Families can expect items to be shipped within one week.

Day-to-Day Uniform
Skirt - Mercy plaid skirt
Pants - Students are expected to wear uniform pants that adhere to the following guidelines:
- Color: Pants must be navy blue or khaki.
- Style: Acceptable styles include traditional classic cut, relaxed fit, chino-style, or Dockers-style made from cotton-twill fabric.
- Fit: All pants must have a waistband with a zipper and button closure. Pants must be boot cut or have a slight flare at the bottom.
- Skinny pants, tight-fitting pants, and ripped or distressed pants are not allowed.
- Prohibited Styles:
- Yoga pants, leggings, and jeans are not permitted on school uniform days.
- Pull-on pants, elastic waists, or drawstring styles such as yoga pants, Lululemon Dance Pants, and scrubs are not permitted.
Shorts - Navy and khaki Bermuda shorts
Polo Shirt - White, gray, or light blue Mercy polo
Outerwear - Navy Mercy sweater, navy Mercy vest, Mercy spirit wear
Socks - White, black, navy, or gray solid socks
Tights - Black or navy solid colored tights
Leggings - Solid black full-length leggings with socks may be worn under skirt
Shoes - Predominantly white, navy blue, gray, or black shoes.
Formal Uniform
Skirt - Mercy plaid skirt (may not be shorter than five inches above the top of the knee)
Pants - Navy and khaki pants (traditional cut, chino style, or relaxed fit, cotton twill pants. Must be bootcut or have a flare; no skinny or ripped pants)
Shorts - Navy and khaki Bermuda, chino style shorts (may not be shorter than five inches above the top of the knee)
Polo Shirt - White Mercy polo only
Outerwear - Navy Mercy sweater only
Socks - White socks only
Tights - Black or navy solid colored tights
Shoes - Black or white shoes
Free Dress
Free Dress days are every Friday with additional free dress days to celebrate special events. Free Dress Fridays are a privilege earned by wearing the Mercy uniform with pride and respect throughout the week.
- Spaghetti straps are not allowed (straps must be at least 1-inch wide)
- Tops must be full length - covering the entire midriff and back
- Ripped jeans are never allowed
- Pajama bottoms are never allowed
