What is Advancement?

“A Strategic and Integrated Approach to Advancing the Mission of our School”

What does the Advancement Department do?

We are committed to the growth and prosperity of Mercy and its programs, scholarships, facilities, academic quality, and outreach. The Advancement Team creates opportunities, builds partnerships, and cultivates strong relationships with the entire Mercy Community, including our Board of Directors, Sisters of Mercy, alumnae, current and alumnae parents, faculty and staff, students, and friends of Mercy, in order to support the vision and mission of the school and strategic initiatives of the Board of Directors.

The Advancement Offices raises funds and other resources to support the academic, student life, capital, and endowment needs of Mercy. We accomplish this through the annual Mercy Fund Campaign, our Making A Difference benefit to raise funds for tuition assistance, other special events, endowment and scholarships, capital campaigns, and planned giving programs.
