As we complete our 8th grade and transfer interviews today I am reminded at how extraordinary our community is and how we each bring a unique gift to Mercy. It is so fun to see the excitement that students and parents bring for the unknown as they look for a new school.
In every interview I have had there is a common theme that parents want so deeply for their daughters to gain confidence and find their voice during their high school years. I know that these were gifts that I received from my Mercy education, and I hope that you have witnessed your daughters transforming in front of your eyes. I hope that you see your daughter standing a little taller each day thanks to her experiences at Mercy, and I hope you find that she is loving herself. If for any reason you feel this is not the experience your daughter is gaining at Mercy please reach out to us as we want to ensure every young woman at Mercy is growing spiritually, socially, and academically.
Thanks, ALL SCHOOL NEWS 2020-2021 Mercy Course Catalog The Mercy Course Catalog for 2020-2021 is available now. Students will meet one-on-one with counselors in the coming weeks to make their course requests in PowerSchool. This year families will not be responsible for making those requests at home, which is a change! We hope this is more convenient for you. Parents will still have access to the recommendations and course requests, and we encourage you to talk with your daughter about them. Email or call your daughter's counselor with questions or concerns. Thank you for careful consideration of a balanced and rigorous course load! Students will be meeting with their counselors in the coming weeks to choose courses for next year. Click HERE for the informational video they will watch in advisory this week.
Reminder that handicapped parking spaces on campus are for cars with disabled placards only. We have community members who need to use these parking spaces and they have recently been taken when they came to campus. If there are no spaces available during pick up and drop off, please wait in the pick up/drop off line for your daughter. Thank you!.

![]() Athlete of the Week Sam, a sophomore has progressed to be a starter on this year's team. In addition to her ability to score, Sam's tenacity on defense has proven to be very valuable for the team. Sam has no fears on the court and is usually the first to dive on the floor for a loose ball. In the past week, Sam has averaged 8 points a game scoring, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. The team is currently 10-10 overall and continues to pursue a CCS post season bid. Sam will play a big part of that pursuit. Great job Sam, keep it going!!!
