Ushers Still Needed for Graduation
on Sunday, June 2nd

We are looking for help in making our graduation ceremony special for the Seniors and their families. Needed 12:30-4:00pm Ushers at St. Ignatius Church, USF Campus, San Francisco. Click HERE to volunteer.

Senior Mother Daughter Mass & Brunch
We were so happy that the sun came out and our families enjoyed the Senior Mother Daughter Mass & Brunch! View photos from the event on the website HERE. A huge thank you to our volunteers for helping out: Judy Ajam, Ana Brownstein, Victoria Gomez, Iris Postigo, Elizabeth Reynoso, Hahn Ryan, and Karen Sammons. Also, a tremendous thank you to the Rock Family for donating the beautiful Swarovski necklaces for the Seniors! 

Final Exams begin Friday, May 24
Students have free dress, and do not need to be on campus if they do not have an exam. Students may not reschedule exams without approval from the Assistant Head of School for Academics. Click HERE for schedule.

During finals cafeteria will be open until 11 am. Once students start the second final, we will close.  We will be serving the regular menu of sandwiches and Salads (we recommend  pre-ordering specialty salads) We encourage pre-orders for all students so that they can use their break time wisely and enjoy their meal.

Thanks to everyone for returning their books on time.  This year was a record for the library with only one book not returned.  

• Summer checkout - for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors the library is open for checking out books on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. There will be a selection of great reads out on the front tables.  To borrow one, or anything from the shelves, just bring the book to Mrs Murphy.  Books will be due back the first week of school next year.  
• The library will be closed during finals, as it is the location for extended time reading.  Please remember calculators for math finals! 

SAT Summer Prep Course Cancelled

Due to other obligations our SAT prep teachers are unable to offer the course during summer school. Due to the low turnout the past two years we will not hold the course this summer. There are a number of groups that do offer SAT prep. Mercy has partnered  with AJ Tutoring to offer a class during the school year. They also offer summer programs. Donate your uniforms! Seniors and any other students who have uniforms that won't be worn any longer, please drop them by the Main Office and we'll offer them to other Mercy students at our upcoming Used Uniform Sales. We'll take Mills skirts, white or gray polos, and sweaters! Contact

 Junior Parents 

Parking Permit Applications for the Class of 2020 are now available in the Main Office. 

The requirements are as follows: 

1. Form completed and signed by student and parent. 

2. Copy of Drivers License 

3. Fee of $100 (checks payable to Mercy High School) 

Please bring all required paperwork and fee to Mrs. Folan in the Main Office. Rising Seniors: You will have the rest of this school year to turn in your forms. First come first served. If you expect to get your drivers license over the summer, you may send it in before the first day of school. Beginning the first day of school any remaining spots will be opened up to licensed Juniors (Class of 2021.)

Graduation Photos!

Lifetouch will be taking professional photos of seniors at graduation that are available for purchase HERE. Images will be loaded 4-5 days after Graduation (June 2nd). If you wish to receive a notification when the images are available, you can sign up in advance using the same link. 

Permission Slip for Graduation Events 
is due to the Main Office by Friday, May 24th.
The events are mandatory for all seniors.

All uniforms and Mercy gear should be returned to the Athletic Directors office ASAP! All uniforms must be washed and clean prior to returning. Please bring to the AD office. Any uniforms or gear not returned by the end of the school year will result in the family being charged a replacement fee.

Summer Athletic Program/Open Gyms
Skill Development and Strength & Conditioning  sessions are now posted to the Mercy website. All athletes who will be participating in a fall sport should utilize the Strength and Conditioning Sessions in order to be properly prepared for their tryouts/practices. Click HERE for more information.

• Volleyball: August 9,12,13 at Serra High School  *Coaches may decide to extend the tryout period based on their assessments..
• Cross Country, Water Polo, Golf and Tennis start on August 14.

Parents and Students, you may have noticed that the grade change notifications on PowerSchool have been turned off. If you're interested in why, please click HERE or see the letter from Academic Council that was posted to Schoology earlier today. We hope this will help set some healthy limits.

Summer School: 

Students and parents, if you are planning to take a summer school class to ADVANCE (not remediate), you must send your counselor proof of registration for this course as soon as possible.
