WEEKLY FEATURE

Image

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Break! Last week, a group of Mercy and Serra students visited Sacramento for an Immersion Trip. They toured the California Raptor Center at UC Davis and discovered how important raptors and birds of prey are to our environment. At Loaves & Fishes they took part in the mission to help provide services to the poor in a spirit of love, hospitality and generosity to those who need it. The group also visited PreetiRang Sanctuary and Flourish Farm, where they got their hands dirty while learning about animal welfare and urban farming. The Spring Immersion trip is always a whirlwind of service activity, learning, and reflection.

Spring Uniform Update

Wishing you all a happy spring! As weather starts to get sunny and warm, it's time to do away with students wearing non-mercy outerwear. When we return from Spring Break, students are asked to dress only in Mercy sweatshirts and Mercy fleece over their uniform polo. If it is raining, students can wear rain boots and a water proof jackets in Mercy approved colors. Any student dressed out of uniform will receive an infraction.
