Thanks to subscriptions to online research databases such as Gale/Cengage, EBSCO, and others, students and faculty can search for hundreds of thousands of news pieces, magazines, and academic journal articles. Back issues of magazines such as Time, Scientific American, the Economist and hundreds more are available along with videos and audio from radio and academic journals from around the world. Primary sources such as speeches, legislation, and court decisions are within easy reach, as are opinion pieces from diverse backgrounds. The goal of this wide variety is to encourage our students to seek better information to help develop their own ideas and opinions, and participate in the conversation that is research at its best!
