The celebration of Mercy Week is a beloved tradition for our community and commemorates the date in 1827 that Catherine McAuley established the first House of Mercy in Dublin, Ireland. Themed dress-up days and Friday's Mercy Day Rally spark school spirit, while the Mercy Day Mass is an important time to gather in reflection and prayer. This year, we recognize the many extraordinary women - past and present - who have changed the world through their dreams and actions with our theme, "Women with a Dream". Students will watch RBG, the recent documentary about U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, learn about the Sisters of Mercy Critical Concerns, and celebrate with a picnic lunch and rally on the Green. ALL SCHOOL NEWS Friday Special Schedule! Friday is Mercy Day and we have a special schedule. Students must report to advisory by 9:00am in their formal dress uniform. Students are encouraged to change into their class t-shirt and free dress before lunch (lunch will be provided).
