*Magnus Health

Since our first email on August 2nd concerning Magnus we have learned of some families experiencing technical difficulties. We appreciate your patience as we work with Magnus on this matter. Please continue to log in and complete the necessary required information. We hope that the technical issues will be resolved in the next day or so. Please note that some families were asked to complete a HIPAA form which is not one of Mercy's requirements. Going forward, you will not be asked to complete this form. Please click HERE for more information.

*School Uniform Policy
Please take a moment to review the
School Uniform Policy
. The flats required for
the formal uniform are defined as non-tennis
shoe footwear that is entirely black. Black TOMS
will be acceptable. For questions regarding
the school uniform, please contact
Dean of Students, Shannon LeCompte,
at slecompte@mercyhsb.com.

*Hair Policy Reminder:

Students, please remember that dyeing the entire head of hair an unnatural color is not allowed. This year one, one-inch colored streak is permitted. All hair must be in dress code compliance for Picture Day on 8/21. Any student not in uniform will receive a uniform infraction daily until their hair meets school standards.

*Reminder to all parents: Starting the school day strong is important! Arriving on time before 7:55AM is imperative to your daughter's academic success. Missed class time can result in a student missing key information, as well as disrupt the learning environment. Please read below for a complete description of Mercy's updated tardy policy.

  • TARDIES
If a student is more than five minutes late to a class, they must go to the Main Office or the Russell Office to record their tardy. She must also have a parent or guardian call the Main Office or write a tardy note explaining the tardy in order to qualify for an excused tardy; it is the student's responsibility to bring the tardy note to the main office immediately following the first period of the day. A student will not be let into the classroom without a tardy slip. If a student accumulates three unexcused tardies in a semester, she will be required to serve a detention.

Students may only have a combined total of three excused tardies and early dismissals within a semester. Any student who exceeds this limit will be required to meet with the Dean of Students and her parents/legal guardian. If a student is more than 15 minutes late for a class, it considered a cut and she will receive a detention.
