all school information
Students and parents, if you are planning to take a summer school class to ADVANCE (not remediate), you must send your counselor proof of registration for this course as soon as possible.
We also need to receive the transcript from the online or summer school by Aug. 1 (or contact Mrs. Conklin if you are unable to send it by then) in order to register you for the advanced class in the fall. If we do not have this information we will be unable to schedule you for the class in the fall and you will need to take that class at Mercy. Click HERE for The Summer School Request form.
*Honors, AP, Tri-School Classes
Students, as we enter the last few weeks of the semester, please be sure to check in regularly with your teachers and counselors in order to maintain your grades. It's easy to get distracted by the end-of-the year events!
Students who plan to take an Honors, AP, or Tri-School class next year, it is especially important that you maintain your grades, as you will be removed from these classes in June if your final grade is not at the expected level. Please discuss this with your current teacher, counselor, or the department chair if you have questions. If we do need to remove you from an Honors, AP, or Tri-School class, your entire schedule could be changed and you may not receive the courses you selected.
*AP exams will take place May 2 - May 13. The library will be closed during this time. Students, please make sure you eat and sleep well, and arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled time of your exam. Chemistry, Chinese, Spanish, and French tests will take place in alternate classrooms. Please check with your instructor. Students, all cell phones must be turned off and put in your bag or locker before the exam.
Students who have requested a Tri-School Class
for next year, 2016-2017: You and your parents must read and sign the Tri School Orientation Packet and Contract and return it to Mrs. Morello by April 28, 2016. Click HERE for packet.
A few reminders:
- If you do not sign and return the contract by April 28, the course will be removed from your approved courses list and you will not be enrolled in the Tri-School course.
- Once a student has been placed in a Tri-School class he/she will not be permitted to drop that class for any reason.
- Requesting a Tri-School class does not guarantee placement in that class. You will be notified of your course list in May.
Click HERE for the Summer School Course Catalog. Classes are available for advancement and remediation. Please sign up early so we can ensure that we have enough classes available. Your daughter should fill out the Summer School Request Form so that her schedule in the fall is accurate.

May 12 at 6:00pm in the Great Hall, please join Ms. Salter's Sophomore English class in celebrating the culmination of the semester-long Sophomore Action Project. Twenty-six Sophomores have spent the semester researching topics within the five Mercy Critical Concerns of Women, Racism, Immigration, Non-Violence and the Earth and their application to the world around us. Then, students were charged to volunteer with a local group, to try to positively impact the issue that they researched to help change the world for the better.
The evening of May 12, students will present the results of their research and the action they committed to in a traditional group TED talk with elements of film, art, song, dance, photography and poetry. Topics include the Syrian Refugee Crisis, Latin American Immigrants and the American Dream, Body Image in All Girls High Schools, Global Warming, Ocean Pollution, the Black Lives Matter Movement, Food Waste and Hypersexualization of Women in the Media, among others. Come prepared to be inspired. It would mean the world to have your support!
Light refreshments will be provided.
Please ask your student or contact Ms. Rhiannon Salter with any questions at email@example.com.

All student athletes who are on a Spring sport team should now be purchasing their Crusaderwear gear designed specifically for their respective team. The site to purchase the gear can be found on the Mercy website under Athletics or click HERE.
Very Important: Every student who plays on a Mercy athletic team must be fully registered with the Appryse system. Each athlete must have their completed physical that shows they have been cleared to participate in sports. If your daughter has not been cleared to play sports, she will not be able to start practice and/or tryouts. You can access thru the Mercy website under Athletics/Forms.
Any student athlete participating in a sport must turn in both the athlete and guardian contract found in the Athletic Handbook. If the signed forms by both student and guardian are not turned in, the student will not be allowed to tryout. Click on the handbook link and print a copy of the contract after you have read the handbook. The Athletic Handbook can be found on the website under Athletics/Forms & Athletic Qualifications. The contracts to be signed are at the end of the handbook. The completed contracts must be returned to the Athletic Director or to the main office.
