Dear Parents,  Last week students completed their course requests with their counselors. The course request process is now finalized.
Please review your daughter’s course request list by this Friday, March 11 to make sure that the requests and alternates for your student look correct. If you see an error, email your daughter’s academic counselor immediately. The master schedule will be built in the coming weeks, and any requests after this date are difficult to accommodate.
As you know from previous communications, the school will strictly enforce a “no-change” policy after the master schedule is finished. Click HERE for some reminders about Mercy course request policies.

*MIT Logarhythms in concert!

Next Wednesday, March 23rd, during first lunch, the music department has a sweet treat!  From 11:15-11:45 a.m. in the Great Hall we are hosting the MIT Logarhythms in concert!

Founded in 1949, the MIT Logarhythms are the Institute’s oldest a cappella group, as well as one of the oldest in the nation. Carrying on a tradition of musical excellence and quality performance, the Logs have performed not only in the Boston area, but across the country and world for audiences of all ages. Recognized as one of the most exciting and animated groups in the New England, on stage the Logs deliver high energy performances packed with tight musical harmony and lots of laughs. The group loves to entertain audiences with their repertoire containing pop, R&B, and classic rock hits.

This concert is during first lunch--please encourage your students to take advantage of this chance to hear a live group of performers.  A cappella is very popular in college these days so it's a good chance to see what it's all about.

    Athletics

All student athletes who are on a Spring sport team should now be purchasing their Crusaderwear gear designed specifically for their respective team. The site to purchase the gear can be found on the Mercy website under Athletics or click HERE.

    Very Important:

Every student who plays on a Mercy athletic team must be fully registered with the Appryse system.   Each athlete must have their completed physical that shows they have been cleared to participate in sports. If your daughter has not been cleared to play sports, she will not be able to start practice and/or tryouts. You can access thru the Mercy website under Athletics/Forms.

Any student athlete participating in a sport must turn in both the athlete and guardian contract found in the Athletic Handbook. If the signed forms by both student and guardian are not turned in, the student will not be allowed to tryout. Click on the handbook link and print a copy of the contract after you have read the handbook. The Athletic Handbook can be found on the website under Athletics/Forms & Athletic Qualifications. The contracts to be signed are at the end of the handbook. The completed contracts must be returned to the Athletic Director or to the main office.

Any Parent who is available and/or willing to drive students to games must turn in all the paperwork to the main office in order to be cleared to drive. This would be for your own car or a school van. The forms can be downloaded from the Mercy website, Athletics/Forms or click HERE
