We are excited to be opening our season on Sunday, October 18! Our first concert of the season features the Cavani Quartet. The concert begins at 7 pm, and we will need volunteers for shifts beginning at 6 pm. Our usual volunteer shift is 6-10 pm, but if you can come for a portion of that time, that's fine as well. Volunteer duties include greeting patrons, distributing programs and seating numbers, then preparing for the post concert reception - preparing food, setting up the reception, setting up beverages, and then clean-up. We are also always in need of food - hors d'oeuvres, finger-sized desserts or wine. Mercy and Serra High School volunteers will receive community service credit for their hours served. Parents and Community members are invited to come to enjoy one another's company (there's always nice people to meet and spend the evening with) and enjoy some professional classical music by world renowned musicians. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering to help with our first concert on Sunday, October 18. I look forward to welcoming back our volunteers from past concerts as well as all newcomers! I am also looking for volunteers who can attend all or most of our concerts to manage CD Sales, Box Office or Beverage Station. Let me know if you are interested. Please contact Yvonne Wun, Program Administrator at admin@musicatkohl.org or 650.762.1130 If you don't want to volunteer, I invite you to purchase tickets and attend any of our concerts in the Great Hall - check our website for details: www.musicatkohl.org |
