If yes, then join us this summer as the Mercy Dance department travels to London for an immersion in the arts.
July 21-29 Mr. Ferguson will embark on a 9 days trip across the pond to dance, see musicals, ballets and of course eat!

Make sure you’ve sent in her permission slip, as she cannot participate in the Bowl-a-thon during Mercy Week if her permission slip is not on file. Tri-School Productions Announces Fall Play...
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare-
A comic hodge-podge of the Bard's great plays
Auditions Aug. 27 & 28th

Tri-School Productions is pleased to announce its Fall Play will be The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, a comic hodge-podge of the Bard's great plays.  We welcome Mercy ladies to audition for the show!   Auditions are Tuesday and Wednesday, August 27th and 28th at Serra.  To prepare for auditions:

  • sign up on line through the Trischoolproductions.com  website (link on the Mercy home page or click here)

  • prepare a monologue (COMIC!) of about 2 minutes, memorized of course!

  • if cast, expect after school rehearsals but which days and how many will be determined by your role

If you need help finding a monologue, please see Ms. Dittmer or Ms. Matthews.  We may have some suggestions from the director as well which will be posted on the webpage.

STAGE CREW is a wonderful way to get involved.  It looks like Saturdays will be the crew day for this show and the first day probably will be after Labor Day.  Jon Hayward, the tech director is setting the schedule but you are welcome to e-mail him your interest at jhayward@serrahs.com.

Parents who love theater, whether your daughter is involved or not are also welcomed to get involved with Tri-School!   More information will be forthcoming about our wonderful TriStars parent supporters.

MERCY PARENTS & STUDENTS-
Fun Volunteering Opportunity!

Join us for an evening of beautiful music.

Music at Kohl Mansion offers exciting opportunities for Mercy parents and students to attend concerts, helping to organize elegant post-concert receptions where musicians and audiences mix and mingle over delicious refreshments.

This long standing Mercy and Music at Kohl Mansion tradition offers Mercy parents and students an opportunity to perform worthwhile community service. Concerts are held in the Kohl Mansion at 7pm on selected Sundays. Volunteers help to keep music alive on the Peninsula!

Duties:

  • bring a dish (home-made or purchased) of yummy treats

  • assist with set-up and clean up of our post concert reception, including food preparation

  • greet, welcome and seat patrons; distribute programs, seating tickets

  • enjoy camaraderie and conversation with patrons, artists, fellow Mercy parents  and volunteers

  • volunteer with your daughter who can earn service credits

  • treat yourself to a wonderful concert!
