Please mark your calendars for our upcoming awards nights:

  • May 19th, 6:30PM-  Senior Awards
  • May 28th, 6:30PM - Undergraduate Awards

Parents of students who will be receiving awards will be notified via email on May 5th. Please note that awards ceremonies will be held in the Great Hall and students and parents are expected to wear formal attire.

Spring Sports Awards- May 27th at 6:00PM in the Great Hall

Sports Physical Night - On Wednesday, June 17th, from  6-8PM Mercy High School's Boosters Club will be sponsoring the Sports Physical Night. For $20 students can come to Mercy and get their physical on campus by our team doctor, Dr. Purchase, and his staff. All are welcomed and encouraged to come. Please remember all students must have an updated physical each year in order to be eligible for athletics. Click here for flyer

Please remind your daughters to update their  "College I'm Attending" section on Naviance, and to fill out the Results
section for all their applications. 

If they can't remember their Naviance username and/or password, they can email me and I will update it for them.

This is a very important requirement and it's part of the graduation checklist.

Pope Francis has declared 2016
THE YEAR OF MERCY
Travel to Dublin/London
during Spring Break 2016

One of the events that will commemorate this amazing year at Mercy Burlingame is that we will be offering a trip to Dublin and London during Spring Break of 2016. During this trip we will be visiting all things Mercy; especially Baggot Street where Catherine McAuley began her work. Please take some time to look at the link that will give you some specifics for this trip. You can pay for this trip through monthly payments. The sooner you register the easier the payments will be as they will be smaller. If you register by 9 pm PST on May 15th with a $95 registration fee you will be eligible for a $400.00 scholarship given by EFT tours.

If you are looking for a spring break trip steeped in Mercy with historical and artistic flair this is the trip for you!

Spring Break 2016

We have a very exciting travel opportunity for you scheduled for Spring Break 2016. This will be the opportunity of a lifetime.  Are you interested in wildlife?  Environmental issues?  Are you interested in learning about wolves?  How about bringing them back from the brink of extinction?  Bears?  Yellowstone?  Geysers?  Learning about ecology?  Would you like to experience SNOWSHOEING?  I mean really, how many of us have been on snowshoes?  Well, click here for flyer regarding our WINTER WILDLIFE ECOLOGY trip to Yellowstone scheduled for March 26, 2016 through April 3, 2016.  This 9 day adventure will excite and educate you.

If your daughter is planning to take a summer school class this summer, please have her complete this form and bring it to her counselor. Thank you!

Please read the policies and then return the completed form to your counselor. Students are encouraged to take classes for enrichment and review, as well as for remediation and advancement. This form will help your counselor update your Academic Plan.

FREE BOOKS!  The Mercy Library is reviewing our collection and will remove books we no longer need.  Removed books are FREE to the Mercy community (students, parents, faculty, and staff)!  If you're interested in browsing our "Yellow Tag" selection, please email the librarian (kbasleesmith@mercyhsb.com) to schedule a visit.  If you don't have space for some of these free books, have no fear!  Books that cannot find a home within the Mercy community will be donated to local schools and public libraries in need.

Donate back Used Uniforms

Do you have any Mercy uniforms around your house that your daughter doesn’t need anymore? Please drop them by the Main Office and we’ll offer them to other Mercy students at our upcoming Used Uniform Sales! We’ll take skirts, polos, sweaters, sweatshirts, pants, vests, shorts, etc! We’ll hold a used uniform sale toward the end of the school year or in early summer if you’re looking for items for next year

Our own Home Made Recipe for both Soups, Creamy New England Clam Chowder Or our Magical Spice Blend with beans and vegetable served San Francisco style in a Freshly baked Sour Dough Bread Bowl......A must try :=)


Friday:  Foccacia Burgers Our Secret Recipe All Beef Burger Grilled to perfection served on our soft and fluffy home made Rosemary and Chives Foccacia bread.

 

Monday: Pasta Primavera Creamy Alfredo sauce with a vegetable medley  and Chicken breast chunks, served with a green Salad and Italian Vinaigrette.

Tuesday: Beef Broccoli over steamed Rice Tender bites of thinly sliced beef marinated in our special blend of Asian spices stir fried wit Broccoli florets  and served over steamed rice.

Wednesday: Chicken Fried Rice and Veggie Egg Rolls

Flavorful and chicken Fried rice with our special Chinese seasoning blend, with ,peas, green onions and shredded cabbage and carrots, served with a vegetarian egg roll stuffed with Cabbage, shredded carrots and mushrooms, along with our own dipping sauce....

Thursday:  Open Face Tacos, Chicken or Shredded Beef
Two Corn Tortilla topped with Mexican Style Seasoned Shredded Chicken OR Shredded beef dressed with shredded lettuce, Salsa, Mexican cheese , served with our famous Spanish Style Rice. 

Friday:  BBQ Chicken with Mash Potatoes and Corn Our own dry rub blend of BBQ seasoning on 2 Drumsticks, served with our creamy mash potatoes and side of corn

OUR VOLUNTEERS!

Thank you to the following volunteers who helped with the Alexander String Quartet concert Sunday night, May 3, as well as with our Make Music Count fundraising efforts: Maya Coleman, Alex Floresca, Cher Fuentes, Brandon Gregg, Natalie Griffin, Marilyn Mercur, Mike Popa, Anna Reyes, Samantha Reyes, Alexandra Smith, Dania Sohail, Zaineb Sohail, Linda Torre, Isabella Torre, and Paula Wong. Without these volunteers and all the volunteers who helped us all season long, we could not do these concerts; we are very grateful for all their time and efforts.

Our season has ended and we will be returning next season on October 18. Please let us know if you would like to be added to our volunteer list! We'd love to have you join us!
