Transportation

The Mercy High School campus is easily accessible by car, train, and bus. Our students live in 13 different Bay Area cities, from San Francisco to Palo Alto.

Summer BART/CALTRAIN Shuttle Schedule

Here is a link to the schedule for the free shuttle (called North Burlingame route) from the BART/Caltrain station. The shuttle stops in front of the Mercy Retreat Center, and is called "Sisters of Mercy of the Americas" on the map. 

Public Transportation

BART: Ride to the Millbrae Station and take the Mercy shuttle or the North Burlingame shuttle (both free) to the Mercy Campus. The North Burlingame Shuttle operates before and after school, until 6:20 p.m.

CalTrain: Many students ride the train from the southern peninsula and SF. Ride to the Millbrae Station and take the Mercy shuttle or the North Burlingame shuttle (both free) to the Mercy Campus. The North Burlingame Shuttle operates before and after school, until 6:20 p.m. *Student rate tickets can be purchased at Mercy.

SamTrans stops at the bottom of Adeline Drive and El Camino and is a short walk up to the Mercy campus.

Carpools

Families can sign up to be on the carpool list through the online enrollment forms. The list is shared in the summer and families arrange their own plans.

For School Year 2023-24

Mercy families live in neighborhoods from San Francisco to Palo Alto and on the coast from Pacifica to Half Moon Bay. There are many ways to get to the Mercy High School campus in the beautiful Burlingame hills.

Mercy Bus and Shuttles:

South Peninsula Shuttle

The Mercy Van makes two picks up in the South Peninsula in Redwood City and San Mateo. At least six students must sign up for the shuttle for it to run during the 2023-2024 school year with a maximum of ten students. It is a morning only service. 

Pacifica and Daly City Shuttle

The Mercy Van picks up students in Pacifica at the Linda Mar Starbucks and at the Serramonte Center. At least six students must sign up for the shuttle for it to run during the 2023-2024 school year with a maximum of ten students. It is a morning only service. 

Bus From Stonestown, Colma BART Station, South City and San Bruno

The Mercy bus picks up at Stonestown Galleria, Colma BART, Hickey Blvd in South City and at the Shops at Tanforan. It is a morning only service. 

Sunset District and Daly City

The Mercy Van picks up students in the Sunset District at 40th and Taraval St. and at the Westlake Shopping Center. At least six students must sign up for the shuttle for it to run during the 2023-2024 school year with a maximum of ten students. It is a morning only service. 

BART/Caltrain - Millbrae Pick Up

Students take the Burlingame City Bus from the Millbrae BART/Caltrain Station to the Mercy Center. They can catch the City Bus back to the station at the end of the day at the Mercy Center.

On early dismissal days and during finals, Mercy runs a van from the Mercy Center to the Millbrae Station.
