The Mercy Community is our village, our network, and our joy.  We offer many opportunities for current families, faculty and staff, alumnae, alumnae families, and even neighbors to come together to celebrate holidays, events, and special Mercy traditions. The belief that young women thrive in a supportive community is foundational to our mission.

Head of School Welcome Reception

Every school year kicks off with our Head of School Welcome Reception in August where incoming families can meet each other, chat with faculty and staff, and spend time on campus. 

Christmas at Kohl

The Mercy High School Alumnae Association hosts an annual Holiday Boutique that is open to the public. Our Victorian mansion is decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, garlands, and Christmas trees all for viewing and holiday shopping pleasure!

Lobster Feed at Kohl Mansion

Each winter Mercy hosts an evening at the mansion with a delicious New England Lobster dinner, entertainment, raffle, and live auction.

Mercy's "Hero Dance"

Mercy High School's "Hero Dance" is a traditional event for current students to celebrate their fathers and father figures in their lives. 

Making A Difference Scholarship Benefit

Making a Difference is Mercy High School's annual Scholarship Benefit where students share the incredible impact Mercy has had on their lives.

The Mercy Tea

A longtime Mercy High School tradition that welcomes students, their mothers, and grandmothers for a day of community in our Kohl Mansion, the Mercy Tea honors the comfort our Foundress Catherine McAuley often spoke to finding in a cup of tea with loved ones. 

Fundraisers

Each fall and spring Mercy High School sponsors a fundraiser for the school. Whether it is a Monte Carlo Night, Hibachi dinner, or a Sip and Taste wine tasting event, Mercy and local community members are invited to join together for a night of fun that supports the young women of Mercy High School. 

Drive & Dines

Whether it is an opportunity to purchase a Friendsgiving Feast, bunny shaped bread for Easter, or a St. Patrick’s traditional dinner, the community is regularly invited to drive up to pick up a meal through our Drive & Dine Program.

Mercy Parent Community

The Mercy Parent Community (MPC) gives families the opportunity to be involved in and connected to their daughter’s high school experience. MPC hosts free community events throughout the year, while also organizing major fundraisers.

MPC welcomes all primary caregivers and offers many ways to participate! Contributions of time, talents, and support help create meaningful experiences for the entire Mercy community.
