The historic Kohl Mansion is home to Mercy High School and rests on more than 40 acres which we proudly share with the Sisters of Mercy. Our campus features include academic buildings, athletic facilities, Visual and Performing Art spaces, Campus Ministry, a Counseling and Wellness Center, and gathering places designed to support every aspect of student life. With the opening of our new Student Life and Athletic Center in fall 2026, Mercy continues to invest in spaces where young women can learn, lead, and thrive.

A residential care center for retired Sisters of Mercy, honoring lives dedicated to faith, service, and education. 

Lodge

The Lodge sits in the privacy of the Sisters of Mercy campus and serves as housing to the Sisters of Mercy.

Nestled in the Burlingame Hills, Mercy High School and the Sisters of Mercy share over 40 acres of oak-clad landscape. 

Mercy Center

Closed in 2025 after its ministry came to completion, Mercy Center served as a retreat and conference center for our community that extended Mercy’s mission beyond our campus. 

Mercy Chapel

The spiritual heart of campus where liturgies, prayer services, and quiet reflection take place. 

Mercy Center Labyrinth

An outdoor walking labyrinth designed for reflection and mindfulness. It offers a peaceful space for students and guests to slow down, center themselves, and to simply be.

Mother House

The historic residence of the Sisters of Mercy is home to twenty Sisters of Mercy whose active ministries continue to shape the spirit of campus, inviting students to encounter faith in action through their presence and example.

Russell Hall
Russel Hall houses classrooms for science, math, languages, as well as the library and counseling center

Home of Mercy High School’s STEM, Counseling, Library, and AMES programming, Russell Hall serves as a dynamic hub for learning, collaboration, and student support.

Kohl Mansion

Purchased in 1924 by the Sisters of Mercy, the historic Kohl Mansion has been home to Mercy High School since 1931 and the heart of campus.

The Green

The Wing

An extension of the Kohl Mansion, the Wing is home to our Humanities courses, Campus Ministry and Serving Learning, and administrative offices. 

Grassilli Center

Named after our beloved Sister Diane Grassilli, the Grassilli Center has been the home of our athletic programming and Dance Room. 

Student Life and Athletic Center

Coming in Fall 2026, the Student Life and Athletic Center is a long-anticipated space that will serve as a vibrant gathering place with a gym, strength and conditioning room, and expanded pool.
