Monday, April 3rd - 7:00-9:00PM - Kohl Mansion 
Carol Galletta is a beloved teacher at Mercy and the Director of the AMES program.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help the Galletta family off set
medical costs related to Carol's fight with cancer.
Come and enjoy the good company, food, silent auction
and talent of Mercy's Faculty and Staff!

Please take note that all hours should be completed before the due date. This means all hours must be entered and approved by May 10! Failure to do so will result in a low grade for service. Reminder, service hours are required for graduation so they must be completed. You have close to two months to complete any remaining hours.

*Host an International Student with gphomestay!

Do you have a loving family and a spare room available in your home? You might consider hosting an international student spending her high school year(s) at Mercy High School. Gphomestay is currently seeking qualified host families to provide a safe and nurturing home environment for such students this August. If you have the kind of home and family environment that would be a good fit for a bright, eager, and highly motivated international student, we would love to hear from you. COLLEGE COUNSELING

REGISTER FOR THE SAT: Students planning to take the SAT in May or June, please log on to www.collegeboard.org to register.  It should take you about 30-40 minutes.  Late registration for the March SAT is still being accepted until February 28th. 

REGISTER FOR THE ACT: Students planning to register for April ACT should do so by March 3rd otherwise you can register for the June 10th exam.  Log on to www.actstudent.org for more information. 

Cal Grant GPA Verification:  In order to be considered for the Cal Grant, you will need to submit the Cal Grant GPA Verification form.  You must complete the top portion of the form and then I will complete the bottom.  I will return the form to you and you mail it in to the address on the bottom of the form.  This must be completed by March 2nd along with your FAFSA.  

FAFSA: Please remember to sign and submit your FAFSA when applying for financial aid.  Check in with your schools to make sure they received your FAFSA.  If you have any concerns or are not sure what a FAFSA is, please come by and see me. 

Mid-Year Reports: Mid year reports have been sent.  Please have your students check their college portals to make sure they have been received. 

Update your Naviance: Please make sure your Naviance is accurate with the schools your daughters have applied to.

UC Application Verification and Updates: Please remember to go in and update your UC application once you have new test scores.  Some of you might have also been selected for verification or additional information has been asked of you.  Make sure you stick to those deadlines. 

Check your online portals: It is very important that you check your school portals to make sure all has been received.  The UC's and some CSU's will also ask for verification through the portal.  Please make sure you are checking these regularly.. 

Junior Parents: It's time to set up your College Meeting with Mrs. Ohanessian.  Please email Francesca at fohanessian@mercyhsb.com to schedule your appointment today.

Thursday, 3/23/17: Minimum Day..No Special, however Café is open for pre-orders of Sandwiches and Salads. Please place your order no later than 11:00am am for pick up by 12:30pm

Friday: Pasta Primavera Creamy Alfredo sauce with a vegetable medley  served with a green Salad and homemade Italian Vinaigrette ~ Meat will not be served on Fridays during Lent

Tuesday:  Greek Style Chicken with Vermicelli Rice and Vegetables

Our own blend of Greek seasoning marinated Chicken breast, grilled to perfection, served with Vermicelli Rice and Greek Salad

Wednesday:  Kefta Kabob with Rice and Cucumber Yogurt Salad

Ground beef with parsley garlic and onions seasoned with our Mediterranean blend of spices skewered and grilled, served over a bed of seasoned rice and a side of cucumber yogurt salad.

Thursday: Shredded Beef Chimmichunga, served with Chips and Salsa and a side Salad  Baked , NOT fried Flour Tortilla stuffed with our shredded beef, beans and cheese. Served with Chips and Homemade Salsa

Friday:  Pizza....Pizza...Pizza  As you know by now...Our home made Pizza dough with our secret recipe Pizza sauce , Grade A Mozzarella cheese and your choice of:
