Director of Admissions

Patricia Glasser, Director of Admissions

Patricia joined the Admissions Team in August 2014 after serving for five years as the Advancement Event Coordinator at Mercy. Patricia brings a wealth of experience to her new role having served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Mercy last year, and previously at Convent of the Sacred Heart where she worked for 16 years. Patricia wore many hats while at Convent also serving as Registrar and Yearbook moderator and is also an alumna of the school. Prior to coming to Mercy, Patricia worked for Catholic Charities/CYO in their Advancement Department as the Event Coordinator. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Creighton University. She is the parent of a Mercy alumna from the Class of 2016 and a Serra junior, and is a very active parent volunteer. Patricia has a deep passion for Mercy education and looks forward to sharing this passion with prospective families.

Assistant Director of Admissions

Shannon LeCompte joined the Admissions Team in July 2015. Prior to Mercy, she was the the Director of Admissions and Outreach at Fusion Academy San Mateo. She earned a bachelor’s degree in History with a Religious Studies minor at Santa Clara University and a M.Ed in Higher Education from Arizona State University. Shannon has professional leadership experience working for national non-profits, secondary and post secondary education institutions, and education technology companies that empower youth to attend and graduate from college. Helping individuals reach their full potential is her passion. She is also a certified yoga instructor, trained in Mind Body Medicine, avid international traveler, and teaches mindfulness, yoga, and leadership to adults and teens. In her down time, Ms. LeCompte is a Board member of the Philip Scholz Memorial Foundation, loves spending time in nature, learning new things, having brunch, and being with friends and family.
