High School Placement Test

Take your high school placement (HSPT) test at Mercy. Although the High School Placement Test is offered at other Bay Area Catholic high schools, taking it at Mercy is an important first step in becoming a member of Mercy’s Class of 2022.

The High School Placement Test must be taken by all applicants on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Students register for the HSPT through our online application.

Students applying for extended time testing must complete a form to be considered (form will be available by September 1). We will contact you when your daughter is approved for extended time.

Testing begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. at Kohl Mansion, Mercy High School. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for check in.

Applicants applying to more than one Catholic High School in San Francisco Archdiocese only need to take the test once. Students may take the test at any Archdiocesan school. Scores will be sent to the other high schools the students provides on the day of the exam. Details on what to bring and where to go on the day of the exam will be sent to each student the week before the exam.
